Amazing facts about Israel

Most of you might know about Israel, the places to see and what kind of food that you can expect and experience. Still, there are some amazing facts about this beautiful and holy country that not many of us are aware of. This post is especially for those of you.

Did you know that only one sixth of one percent of the total land areas that is available in the Middle East Asia? Well, you may wonder it is true, but the fact is that it is. Twenty four percentage of the total workforce that is available in Israel hold some degree or the other from a recognized university, which makes it only the third highest in any industrial country next only to the United States of America and Netherlands. You may also want to note that a total of twelve percent hold advanced degrees as well.

Israel has the third highest percentage of entrepreneurs in the world out of with they have acquired the highest rate for women in this category and for people who are aged more than fifty five years. Israel is the only country in the whole wide world that entered the twenty first century with a net increase in the number of trees that were there in it. There are more than three thousand high tech companies and start-ups that have their base here that it is the second highly concentrated tech region, next only to Silicon Valley.

Most Israelis have computer at their homes and hence Israel is rated high among all the other countries as having the highest percentage of home computers in any capital. Many of the latest technology developments in the top IT and Hardware companies had been initiated in Israel making this holy land a high tech land on its own.

Israel also has the 4th largest air force in the world, next only to the United States of America, China and Russia. One interesting fact about the currency notes in Israel is that they have brail on them so that even a visually challenged individual can identify them with ease.
